Meekha Anna Saji
MSW, RSW specializing in trauma-informed, evidence-based psychotherapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and life transitions.
I believe healing begins when you feel safe enough to be truly seen, heard, and understood.
Reaching out for support can feel difficult, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. My role is to offer you a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you don’t have to do that anymore. Here, your story is honoured with care, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.
A key part of my work is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. Sometimes, painful memories remain “stuck,” continuing to affect how we feel, think, and respond in the present. EMDR gently supports your brain in reprocessing these experiences using bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements or tapping), helping to reduce emotional intensity and create a greater sense of calm, clarity, and control.
I support individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and overwhelming life experiences. Whether your struggles feel recent or deeply rooted, we work together to gently understand what you’re going through and find ways to help you feel more grounded and supported.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based care. I have completed formal training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) through Wilfrid Laurier University, and I integrate CBT alongside Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are connected, while also building practical tools to support healing and everyday functioning.
I am also currently completing training in Couples Therapy through the Gottman Institute, which supports my work with partners navigating communication challenges, conflict, and rebuilding connection.
I work with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders, postpartum challenges, addictions, emotional regulation, and relationship difficulties. I also support individuals experiencing grief and loss, intimate partner violence, workplace stress, bullying, and the impacts of narcissistic abuse.
I have a particular interest in supporting first responders, immigrants, refugees, and individuals navigating major life transitions, racial trauma, or palliative experiences. My work often includes a focus on the mind-body connection, helping your nervous system move from overwhelm toward safety and balance.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: You are not broken — you have been doing your best to cope.
With the right support, healing is possible. You can feel more like yourself again — with greater clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of hope.
It is truly a privilege to walk alongside you in that journey.
